Tacos

Audience: People who want to eat Tacos.
Aim: To make Tacos taste good.

Ingredients:
In this kit: Just Add:
5 stand and stuff taco shells 1 small onion
5 mini tortillas 600g lean beef mince
Mild taco seasoning lettuce, shredded
Mild taco sauce 2 medium tomatoes
1 cup tasty cheese, grated

Method/Steps:
1. Heat some oil in a pan and cook onion until soft. Then put the beef on the heat and cook for 3 minutes or until brown. Add the taco seasoning to the beef with ¾ cup of water and simmer until the sauce thickens.

2. Taco Shells: Preheat the oven to 180degrees. Remove the taco shells from the plastic and put on a tray slightly apart. Place in the oven until they are warm.

Tortillas: Open the tortilla pouch and take out the freshness sachet. Microwave the tortillas in the plastic pouch for 15 seconds.

3. Fill the taco shells with the beef, lettuce, tomato, cheese and drizzle with taco sauce.


Option: Corn Salsa

Blanch fresh corn in boiling water for 2 minutes. Remove corn with a sharp knife and mix with capsicum, coriander, red onion and a squeeze of lime juice.

Evaluation: Did they taste good?
